On March 20, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) welcomed a delegation of international representatives and students for a campus visit and academic exchange. The meeting helped strengthen friendships and reaffirm the University’s reputation within the regional education network.
The program brought together students from countries with well-developed education systems, including South Korea (Mokpo National University, Tongmyong University), the Philippines (De La Salle University, FAITH Colleges), Malaysia (Sunway University), Taiwan (National Taichung University of Science and Technology), and India (Vellore Institute of Technology, Thapar University). Their presence created a vibrant multicultural environment while offering students the opportunity to better understand cultural differences and broaden their global perspectives.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President of the University, extended a warm welcome and expressed her honor in hosting the delegation. She shared, “HUTECH always keeps its doors open to international partners because we believe that cultural exchange is key to developing a global mindset. This also serves as a strong foundation for the academic exchange and international internship initiatives that the University aims to expand in the near future.”

Following the formal session, the international students were divided into small groups to explore the University’s modern facilities and technical infrastructure. With dedicated guidance from staff of the Department of International Relations and Project Management and the Institute of International Education, they had the opportunity to experience everything from advanced laboratories to inspiring self study spaces. Many students expressed their surprise and admiration for the well planned investment and the dynamic, energetic learning environment that HUTECH students experience every day.

The campus visit offered international participants a clear and comprehensive view of the quality of education and learning environment at HUTECH. At the same time, direct interaction with representatives and peers from diverse cultural backgrounds provided valuable opportunities for HUTECH students to develop communication skills, improve language proficiency, and build confidence in their journey toward global integration.
