2019 Miss HUTECH - Thanh Khoa wins the 2019 World Miss University

On December 18, 2019, Miss HUTECH Nguyen Thi Thanh Khoa - the representative of Vietnam was crowned the winner of the 2019 World Miss University in the finale of the beauty pageant competition held in Jeju (South Korea). Thanh Khoa is also the first Vietnamese representative to make history in winning the contest.
The victory of Miss Vietnam - Thanh Khoa at the 2019 World Miss University is an affirmation of the intellect and confidence of Vietnamese students in the eyes of international friends. For Thanh Khoa alone, this is the highest achievement in the relentless and fruitful journey in beauty pageant competition, namely winner of Miss HUTECH 2019, Top 15 in Miss World Vietnam 2019, and now the winner of World Miss University 2019.
Despite the lack of notoriety and publicity, the victory of Thank Khoa in the international beauty pageant competition has surprised many and brought much national pride for the personal effort in her journey to conquer the top position.

| Meanwhile, the second runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2018, Thuy An, who is also currently a HUTECH student, has been competing at the 2019 Miss Intercontinental held in Egypt. In another beauty competition, Nguyen Thi Minh Thu (student of the Faculty of Business Administration) -Top 40 Miss Vietnam University 2018 also had a good performance at the finale of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Fitness Star contest held on January 5.
