HUTECH signs MoU with Kongu Engineering College (India), expanding academic cooperation

On August 13, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and Kongu Engineering College (KEC), India, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) online, opening up new opportunities for collaboration in education, research, and academic exchange between the two institutions.
At the meeting, representatives of both institutions introduced their respective development journeys, academic strengths, and internationalization strategies, while discussing potential areas of collaboration. The shared focus on research-driven education and international integration provides a strong foundation for HUTECH and KEC to establish cooperation activities that build on the strengths of each institution.

Specifically, the two institutions plan to promote student and faculty exchanges, implement research projects, jointly organize seminars and international conferences, and develop academic programs. These activities will create more opportunities for faculty and students from both institutions to build professional connections, share expertise, and gain exposure to multicultural learning and research environments.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President of HUTECH, highly appreciated KEC’s focus on education closely connected with research, innovation, and practical needs. She expressed her hope that the MoU would soon be translated into concrete and relevant activities, creating more opportunities for students and faculty to pursue learning, research, and international experiences.
The partnership with KEC contributes to expanding HUTECH’s international partner network while creating further opportunities for faculty and students to engage in professional, research, and academic exchange activities in a multicultural environment.
