HUTECH and Ngee Ann Polytechnic discuss collaboration in education and student exchange

During the meeting, both institutions introduced their educational models, internationalization strategies, and current student exchange initiatives. HUTECH representatives shared information about the University's short-term and long-term international mobility opportunities, including study visits, semester exchange, international internships, and research internships.

Among these initiatives, the annual Learning Express program with Singapore Polytechnic was highlighted as a successful example of HUTECH's collaboration with a Singaporean partner.

Building on these existing initiatives, the two institutions held in depth discussions on developing short-term exchange programs for students from both HUTECH and Ngee Ann Polytechnic. The proposed programs would combine academic learning, cultural exchange, company visits, and firsthand experiences of each country's educational environment. Activities could be tailored to specific academic disciplines, offered in flexible formats, and designed to meet the practical needs of students from both institutions.

Founded in 1963, Ngee Ann Polytechnic is one of Singapore's five largest public polytechnics and operates under the country's national education system.

The institution offers a wide range of disciplines, including science and engineering, information technology, business, and many other applied fields, with a strong emphasis on hands on learning and close collaboration with industry.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic also receives strong support from the Singapore Government through various education development initiatives and scholarship opportunities for international students.
