Graduation Ceremony of International Joint Program with CY Cergy Paris University
On the morning of December 17, students of the international joint program between HUTECH and CY Cergy Paris University (CYU) officially graduated. The graduation ceremony was organized by the Institute of International Education and the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Awarding the degrees to 34 new Bachelors of Hotel Management, Event Management, and Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts were Ms. Flora Canetti-Technology and Innovation Cooperation Officer of the French Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, and Mr. Felipe Diaz Marin-Program Manager of CYU International Restaurant & Catering Service. At the same time, 5 students with excellent academic results throughout the course were also commended and rewarded.

The ceremony took place at Saigon Campus with the participation of Ms. Flora Canetti, Mr. Felipe Diaz Marin, Mr. Le Xuan Tam-President of the World Association of Master Chefs in Vietnam, and Mr. Nalinda Prabath Rajasuriya-Lead Lecturer of Q Industry. Representatives of HUTECH attending the ceremony were Dr. Kieu Tuan-Secretary of the Party Committee cum Standing Committee of the BOD; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam-Vice Chairman of the BOD; Dr. Nguyen Thuy Hong Van-Director of the Institute of International Education; Mr. Tang Thong Nhan-Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. The ceremony was also attended by relatives and friends of the new Bachelors.

CYU is a leading university in the field of restaurants and hotels. Participating in the joint program between HUTECH and CYU, students will learn in an international environment with CYU lecturers and practice at high-class restaurants and hotels. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a Bachelor's degree from CYU, recognized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training.
