Digital Transformation and Growth Opportunities for Students Majored in Finance and Commerce

On September 30, HUTECH’s Center for Corporate Relations and Faculty of Finance and Commerce partnered with Next Academy to host a student and business leaders exchange titled "Digital Transformation Through Mindset Change".
The seminar attracted many students
Accompanying the students at the program were speaker Wilson Lieu, CEO of Next Academy Digital Transformation Institute; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Tung, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce; Dr. Le Duc Thang, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce; Mr. Tran Nam Trung, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce; Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce; Ms. Vo Tuong Oanh, Head of the Banking and Insurance Department; Ms. Le Quyet Tam, Founder and CEO of Viet Vtech Group and Head of the E-commerce Department; Dr. Van Thien Hao, Chief Financial Officer of Hustle and Bustle Singapore Vietnam and Head of the International Finance Department; and Mr. Tran Huu Xuan Thu, Deputy Director of the Center for Corporate Relations.

At the beginning of the session, speaker Wilson Lieu provided an overview of the initiation and development of digital transformation in Vietnam and globally, along with general insights on the process. He also summarized the key characteristics of digital transformation, the demands it places on personnel, and the opportunities and impacts it brings to various industries and sectors in society

Following this, speakers Wilson Lieu, Dr. Van Thien Hao, and Mr. Le Quyet Tam engaged in a discussion and exchange with HUTECH students about the digital transformation process in Vietnam. Specifically, they addressed students’ questions regarding the transition of traditional businesses in the digital era, the role of International Finance in digital transformation, and the relationship between E-commerce, International Finance, and digital transformation.

The program provided Finance and Commerce students with a concrete and in-depth understanding of the digital transformation process. It also offered them opportunities to connect, engage, and interact with experts, helping students position themselves within the job market and set clear development goals to better prepare for future career advancement
