HUTECH Faculty of Finance and Commerce students visit Sun Life Vietnam for real-world experience

On April 10, the Faculty of Finance and Commerce at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized a field trip to Sun Life S.pace Office (102 Nguyen Van Cu, District 1), offering students the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in the financial services industry.

Accompanying the students were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Tung – Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce, Dr. Nguyen Van Bao – Head of International Finance, and Ms. Vo Tuong Oanh – Head of Financial Investment. Representatives from Sun Life Vietnam included Ms. TD Tran Toan – Sales Director of APEX59 Region, and Ms. ZD Ngo Le Quyen – Regional Sales Director.

A large number of Finance and Commerce students participated in the visit to the Sun Life S.pace office, where they had the chance to listen to Ms. TD Tran Toan and Ms. ZD Ngo Le Quyen introduce the "Sun Bright" recruitment program – a comprehensive talent development initiative for outstanding students. The program not only offers scholarships and training but also internship and career opportunities across markets including Vietnam, Asia, and Canada, with a pathway to full-time employment at Sun Life Vietnam.

During the visit, students toured different departments and explored the company’s operations and workplace design. Sun Life Vietnam is known for its open, modern workspaces designed to foster creativity and positive energy for partners, clients, and employees alike.

Exciting gifts were also presented to participating students by the guest speakers
