HUTECH concludes external assessment for FIBAA accreditation of four undergraduate programmes

After three days of focused and professional work (September 10–12), the external assessment for accreditation of four undergraduate programmes under FIBAA standards at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), including International Business, Business Administration, Accounting, and Restaurant and Catering Management, officially concluded on the afternoon of September 12.

At the online closing session, Dr. Marco Haid, FIBAA Project Manager, thanked HUTECH for its thorough preparation and open exchanges throughout the process. This was an important milestone that reflects the University’s efforts and commitment to international standards while providing students with a modern and integrated learning environment with strong development opportunities.

During the assessment, the FIBAA expert panel reviewed all aspects of the University’s operations, including student admissions, curricula, training organization, teaching methods, support services, resources, and quality management systems. The panel recognized many of HUTECH’s strengths and also offered recommendations for further improvement. FIBAA particularly noted the University’s proactive identification of areas for improvement and its implementation of specific solutions to achieve further progress.
On behalf of the University’s leadership, Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President, expressed sincere thanks to the FIBAA experts for their valuable contributions and stated: "We deeply appreciate the professionalism, dedication, and insight the experts have brought to HUTECH’s four programmes. We acknowledge the preliminary findings, including strengths and recommended improvements. This provides a solid foundation for us to continue reviewing, adjusting, and enhancing the quality of our training."

The recent FIBAA international accreditation assessment was not only a professional activity but also an opportunity for HUTECH to reaffirm its quality-focused development strategy.
