Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) welcomed representatives from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), USA, on July 7 to discuss potential collaboration in academic programs, research, and international academic engagement.

The meeting began with both institutions introducing their development journeys, strategic priorities, and academic strengths in education and research. Recognizing their shared focus on engineering and technology, HUTECH and UNLV explored a range of collaborative opportunities aimed at leveraging the strengths of each institution while strengthening connections among faculty members, researchers, and students.

In the area of education, the two universities discussed the possibility of developing collaborative academic programs in engineering and technology. These initiatives are expected to provide students with greater access to international learning opportunities while enhancing their technical expertise, research capabilities, and adaptability to the rapidly evolving demands of today's technology-driven workforce.
