Wine serving skill – Interesting conference and experience

   
On August 8th, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) has organized the conference “Wine tasting and F&B Service” in order to introduce the students to an irreplaceable part of Hospitality services: Wine.

The conference was led by experts with great understanding in Wine, Mr. Felipe Diaz Marin – Lecturer of Cergy-Pontoise University (France) and MA. Le Quoc Hong Thi – Lecturer of HUTECH Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality.
 
The lecturers showed the students how to taste wine, as well as define the age and quality of wine, and also the categorising criteria of famous types of wine. In addition, they also instructed the students on how to use wine according to each service style, party type, and time of the day.

At the conference, the students also learned and practiced on how to properly serve wine in fine dining. This was an interesting experience for the students, and will also aid the students greatly in their future careers.
 
After the conference, students of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality took another step on the road of their careers with an interesting set of knowledge and skills. In the future, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality plans to bring about more Conferences that provides the students with other useful knowledge and skills to bring them closer and closer to success.
