The international partner network of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) continues to grow as the university signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PMX Malaysia during the “Study Abroad: Why Not Malaysia” education exhibition on August 1.
Organized by the Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City, the event gathered many universities, colleges, and enterprises to introduce study programs, scholarships, international transfer opportunities, and to strengthen educational connections between Vietnam and Malaysia.

As part of the event, HUTECH signed an MoU with PMX Malaysia, a company specializing in design and construction solutions for data centers in Southeast Asia. The two sides will collaborate on training, internships, recruitment, and the development of specialized programs in engineering, technology, and digital infrastructure, thereby expanding opportunities for students to experience international working environments.

Alongside the signing ceremony, the HUTECH delegation also attended the opening ceremony and sharing sessions by representatives from Malaysia’s Ministry of Education, Malaysian universities, and enterprises. They actively participated in partner networking activities, exchanging cooperation opportunities in scholarships, international transfer programs, and human resource development.
Sharing sessions highlight trends in regional education and training cooperation
Earlier, on July 31, the university welcomed a delegation of representatives from 11 Malaysian universities and enterprises, led by Ms. Koh Bee Ching, Vice Consul (Education) at the Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City. Both sides discussed training programs, academic cooperation development, student exchange initiatives, and strengthening connections between the university and businesses.
